We are delighted to be supporting the #WorldCleanUp effort in Guernsey, with Galaxy CI.

Local environmental charities – including Pick it Up Guernsey, La Societe Guernesiaise, Plastic Free Guernsey, Fairtrade Guernsey and the Alderney Wildlife Trust – are joining forces across the Bailiwick and will be running a series of litter picks, beach cleans and wombling events between Monday 16th – Sunday 22nd September to mark World Clean Up Day.

We don’t just need to clean up our natural environments, we need to change old habits. So many of the items and materials we find during litter picks and beach cleans could have been recycled, re-manufactured and re-used. But we also need to ensure that products can be recycled; and design with sustainability in mind.

One of the easiest ways to protect the environment is to make different choices: instead of purchasing a product packaged in single use plastics, or a product that cannot be easily recycled …. find a more sustainable alternative.
