This week, we welcomed the Guernsey Employment Trust (GET) and Guernsey Mind to meet our Site Directors and Managers; and the two charities delivered training around disability and inclusion; and well being in the workplace.

After signing up to the GET Employment Charter, we are starting to place candidates on work experience placements at our sites; with one candidate immediately securing permanent employment following his successful placement at Mayside Recycling.

Guernsey Mind’s 2 hour session explored the importance of well-being in the workplace, and how to have conversations about mental health within our teams.
